Our XW-GI7710 is a very light strap-down inertial navigation system around the world. It is capable of offering the carrier’s true azimuth angle, motion attitude, navigation velocity and 3D position information. After the alignment is finished, 50% of CEP is better than 1nmile/h. The miniature high accuracy fiber optic strap-down inertial navigation system consists of small sized high accuracy tri-axial FOG’s and high accuracy Q-flex flexible accelerometers, high accuracy I/F conversion circuits, DC power supply, etc. Our XW-GI7710 uses digital temperature measurement, flexible PCB wiring technologies. It is designed with a small volume and meets relatively high inertial measurement accuracy. The product can be widely applied for fields, such as, aviation, ships, vehicles or other pure inertial applications.

■ Stationary base mode: the only required information are initial longitude and latitude. During the alignment process,
try to maintain the system motion as zero. System heading rotation shall be about 90 degrees when system is
energized at 500s, -90 degrees at 1000s. Generally, alignment can be done and switch to navigation after two rotations
at 1600s.
■ DVL assisted alignment(recommended route): connect the DVL calibrated with inertial system mounting relative
position to the system, then offer initial longitude and latitude information to it. Keep the system static for 3 minutes
after being energies for coarse alignment. After the coarse alignment is done, keep traveling at 2~4 knots in a straight
line. System heading rotates about 90 degrees after being energized for 500s. Then continue to travel in straight line at
2~4 knots. Heading rotates about –90 degrees at 1000s. Keep traveling in a straight line until alignment is finished.
The alignment takes about 1600s. Then it enters pure navigation.
■ GPS assisted alignment: connect GPS with system, then use DVL assisted alignment mode. Alignment will be done
in about 1600s.
